Filters don't work on user IDs, only on post content. So I had to code my own local implementation...

Yes! If you log into your server's website (for you that's https://mastodon.social) and then go to your profile, you can set it to hide your boosts.
Alternatively, you can use special phrases called search operators to search posts. If you just want to search your own posts include the phrase from:me in the search. More info at https://fedi.tips/how-do-i-search-for-stuff-on-mastodon/

PopsipI'm glad there's an option to hide boosts at all, but I hope someday that there will be a bit more options for controlling an amount of boost to display from someone instead of completely turning it off.
Like maybe an option for only showing the first n-th amount of someone's boosts or maybe displaying their most recent boost and then displaying their next boost n-th minutes from the one previously displayed.
Kai und der Andere ποΈ@FediTips this one got lost in translation. in german it says "hide boosted posts of OP", which to me clearly means not to show me original boosts of OP if they were boosted.
