@ricci @dev that was my first reaction, but then someone pointed out to me that Pittsburgh is only about 30 miles from the border with Ohio which is clearly in the midwest so now I am confused

@dan @ricci @dev as someone who grew up there and now lives in Chicago (and whose dad was from NJ): I believe the culture to be Midwest, with elements of both Appalachia and East Coast visible, but from the Western edge (where I grew up) to Chicago is as Midwest as anywhere in between, IMO. My wife however disagrees, and feels the culture is more East Coast than Midwest. 🤷

@logosity @dan @ricci @dev Buffalo is right on the Soda/Pop, and Resis/Ree-sees lines. Pittsburgh is right about at our longitude, so my vote is that like us, it's borderline midwest.
