@robert
6/6 so far.
He will be say enough stupid shit this week for there to be a 7/6
@chmod777 @robert Oh there will absolutely 100% be a raged toddler tantrum when Iran doesn't suddenly agree to the deal he... actually hasn't even talked to them about...
@robert Everything about this says: ”I want to quit so badly, but I can’t”
@gimulnautti @robert
My guess would be rather "Hey, why didn't they give in to my bullying already? It worked all the time, I need to try harder!"

@gimulnautti @robert Yeah, why doesn't this "Iran-Epstein-War-subscription" have a proper 14-day cancellation option? The gentleman peddling it at the door to the Oval Office said that I can call him anytime in the first two weeks to cancel it. But he left me a fake out-of-order number.

Oh, I signed an EO ending enforcement of consumer rights, but it wasn't meant to end consumer rights for old white men!

@robert great thread of threats. your thread alone should be enough impeach him for mental health reasons.

@robert
Apr 6: About NATO: "It all began with - if you want to know the truth - Greenland. We want Greenland. They don't want to give it to us. And I said, 'bye bye.'"

@robert The bitter bit about this thread is that, as someone who doesn't closely follow Trump's ramblings, I cannot tell if those quotes are made up, a bit polished for comedy, or actually from a person with control over one of the world's largest militaries.
@robert Apr 7, “can anyone help me get my dick out of this hornet’s nest?”
@uncle_vinny @robert 😂 🤣 the way he dealt with it the epstein days - he should be immune to it being bitten - oh no they sting!!! 🤔 🤣 😂
@robert holy crap that April 5 quote is real. That guy is bonkers this is all so embarrassing.

@robert

his head needs to go in a vise and squeezed until his ears meet in the middle. the end.

@robert you forgot June 2025 "we completely obliterated their nuclear weapons program"

February 2026 "they were about to complete a nuclear weapon"

@Haikyoneko @robert
They’ve also been months away from nuclear weapons for the last 40 years.

@Vluciamonteirop @mrundkvist @robert

@mrundkvist @xs4me2 @robert 77 million idiots of whom a large portion have realized just how idiotic they were, and another large portion have not.
@robert
and there are still people telling me, trump is clever.....
@virgil_tibbs @robert It's these people I'm interested in. I would love to hear from a Trump supporter with the best reasoned argument they can give that the war is going well.

@JustinMac84 @robert

i ment non-trump-supporter who still think he has some kind of cleverness.

@virgil_tibbs @robert Well he can't be a complete idiot to have got where he is. And it does beg the question: which is the bigger idiot? The narcicist who keeps moving the goal-posts and creating a completely incoherent narrative, or the idiots who allow him to continue to lead and treat the story with anything other than the utmost contempt and ridicule? Status quos are still status quoing despite this madness.
@JustinMac84 @robert
sure? he inherrited a lot of money. russia helped him out some times...
@virgil_tibbs Saw an article saying Russia is the only one to have benefited from the war. So maybe he is clever and maybe everything is going according to plan.
@JustinMac84 @virgil_tibbs Ukraine is making sure that Russia doesn’t reap the full benefits of Trump’s folly. China, on the other hand, is starting to look more and more like a rational, trustworthy player. Which will make for an interesting situation when Trump has frivolously emptied America’s arsenals and alienated his allies by committing war crimes in Iran, if China decides that now would be a good time to “reunite” Taiwan with the Homeland.
@ArtHarg @JustinMac84 @virgil_tibbs
If we pull our heads out of the western imperialist propaganda machine we’d realize China is not the bogeyman they were presented to be.
@freediverx @ArtHarg @virgil_tibbs Yeah China isn't throwing it's weight around half as much as America; isn't demanding regime change here there and everywhere; seems like a sane and sensible alternative these days. Not perfect, but what country is?
@JustinMac84 @ArtHarg @virgil_tibbs
96% homeownership, excellent free educational system, sophisticated mass transit including bullet trains, superior luxury electric cars at a fraction of the cost of a Tesla…
@freediverx @JustinMac84 @virgil_tibbs China is not the workers’ paradise that they claim to be either. They do try to improve conditions, certainly. But the price is that one has to either fit in the mold or be squashed into it. Where we in the West erred on the side of individualism over the common good, China erred the other way. If we could marry the Chinese sense of responsibility with the Western freedom of choice, then maybe we’d get somewhere. A middle road, as it were.

@ArtHarg @JustinMac84 @virgil_tibbs

Cap. Terms like individualism, freedom, and liberty have always been abused to mean the opposite. In America we have the freedom to be homeless, the liberty to be worked to death for absurdly low wages, the individual choice to die from disease or injury or accept medical bankruotcy.

No country or culture offers a perfect system free of issues, but now that we’ve entered end stage capitalism, the west is learning where we were headed all along.

@robert "And maybe you shouldn't be speaking every day."
@robert "Will you go out with me?"
No
"I thought you were ugly anyways. I just pitied you. If you don't go out with me you will regret it... Please go out with me."

So Much Winning - Digby's Hullabaloo
