Vivian Yee reports on King's Way Reformed church at Prescott, Arizona, which belongs to the same Reformed communion to which Pete Hegseth belongs. Kings' way is pastored by Dale Partridge, whom people drive from miles away to hear preaching on Sunday — as women in the congregation tie scarves on their heads to symbolize their submission to males.

Supporters of Household Voting Believe U.S. Would Be Better Off Without Women’s Vote

Adherents to biblical patriarchy support household voting: One household, one vote — the husband’s. They say the idea is catching on.

The New York Times

Partridge's message:

"On social media, the pastor has attracted a following by posting incendiary commentary: railing against feminists, Catholics and gay people, describing immigration as 'national suicide,' and labeling Islam and Hinduism 'demonic.' He also calls for erasing women’s suffrage, which he lists as one reason 'the world is falling apart.'”

Women were made to look pretty and be loved, not to involve their pretty little heads in political or business matters, says the church's assistant pastor Corbin Clarke. His wife agrees, saying that "God" designed things to work that way.

This model is coming for all of us sooner than we think, is going to be imposed on all of us, if we stand by and let that happen.

@wdlindsy I'm tempted to say that if God was real, he'd strike the "pastor" stone dead, and Trump as well. 🤬
@wdlindsy What's the deal here? Are people promised some front row seats in the afterlife if they obey?
CPAC Head Says Iranian Schoolgirls Are Better Dead Than “in a Burqa”

Leading Republicans don’t seem to care about the bombing of a girls’ school in Iran.

@Npars01 @wdlindsy

I’ll be honest, if I didn’t live in the blackened heart of yeehawdist territory, and thus would probably be attacked, I would rather throw on a burka to run in to the store than have to change out of my art or house clothes into respectable outdoor clothes.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an Arab, I understand the connotations of them in some contexts, I’m just saying, sometimes I’d rather not be seen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MissConstrue @wdlindsy

That's one of the side benefits of covid, wearing a mask and a hat or hoodie, and running errands at a nearby store in "incognito mode".

Very understandable.

People should be able to wear, or not wear, what they want.

As long as it's voluntary, it goes into my "nonya business" world view.
