I’ll be honest, if I didn’t live in the blackened heart of yeehawdist territory, and thus would probably be attacked, I would rather throw on a burka to run in to the store than have to change out of my art or house clothes into respectable outdoor clothes.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an Arab, I understand the connotations of them in some contexts, I’m just saying, sometimes I’d rather not be seen. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's one of the side benefits of covid, wearing a mask and a hat or hoodie, and running errands at a nearby store in "incognito mode".

Very understandable.

People should be able to wear, or not wear, what they want.

As long as it's voluntary, it goes into my "nonya business" world view.
