You’re right, it’s not as Straightforward as it seems. The guy was told repeatedly not to put himself in harms way, it’s obvs against company policy and insurance. The guy stopping the shop lifter smashed a load of stock he was trying to save by throwing it at the shoplifter / so the result of it was no saving for the company at great risk - like it or not retailers tell their staff not to try and apprehend for a reason - that scummy little traitor farage would never out himself in harms way to help anyone
