A starship for intergalactic travel, a Titanium frame/skeleton with a Tungsten double hull skin with Bismuth between the outer and inner hull, using a Teflon-based laminate (PTFE) as the thermal interface and a silica/carbon blend aerogel as insulation between layers; Ideally a fusion based ion drive system, and the entire ship would be controlled via a bio-neuro quantum computer with adaptive active learning ai; The life of the craft could theoretically last eons, but the reality would be, it is an explorer and recovery ship, to seek out exoctic materials, harvest them and return them to a central processing facility, to create new materials and technologies;
