But I will admit it’s a little rough. Those were early days and it isn’t organized that well.
I actually think Cepheus Deluxe is a good entry point for new people. It’s not a clone, but it does keep the spirit of CT with a better flow and some modern quality of life adjustments.
That said, if you want to dive in to CT and get a lifetime of material, you can get CDs directly from Marc. (Or you can email him after purchase to get a drop box link instead of physical shipping.)
He’s always running a buy 3 get 1 free sale, and the Classic Traveller + Journal of the Traveller Aid Society + Apocrypha 1 & 2 give you hundreds of supplements to explore. Don’t feel you’d need to use it all, just pick and choose what works for your game.
