πŸ“ Race notes | Wayout Backyard Ultra 2026

I just wrapped up the experience I had last weekend at the backyard ultra πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€

@moelholm Running faster pushed the pain away? 😳 Reads like another great excursion.
@WTL yeah it was really absurd. It was as if my mind had β€œaccepted” being in pain. But then for this one loop moving faster … from after a few minutes of running β€œtempo” speed … then it felt like I barely had started running. It has made me wonder how much is actually the brain that controls the perceived pain level. I would love to experiment more with this … to see if I can actually use it constructively in my runs. Should probably research a bit πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ§πŸ˜€

@WTL and thanks for reading it πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ»

(I actually talked with a runner at the backyard that told me he had been reading my posts πŸ«£πŸ˜†. I sometimes feel this is a one-way thing … but it is nice to know that perhaps some are reading them πŸ™ƒ)

@moelholm I enjoy reading about these efforts. I either catch your post here or vis RSS.
