Abram Kedge🏴🇨🇦@hacks4pancakes that's a surprisingly insightful solution to reduce fuel usage. You rarely get good ideas from politicians, all the smart ones get beaten up behind the bike sheds on their first day in office.

@Nigel_Lake @hacks4pancakes yeah, its not bad but most months I struggle to take enough journeys to cover the fare. But I live in a small city and can bike everywhere, it would be different in a big city of if you commute by public transport.

I hope it sticks for some people and causes the transport system to improve with it. If we can have some society improvement as a side effect of (gestures at all the shit happening recently), then I really hope we keep it when everything calms down 🤞
