prints and t-shirts to fundraise for Palestine 🫒

£5 from each print and £10 from each t-shirt sale goes directly to The Sameer Project - a donations based, Palestinian-led initiative, providing an emergency response and funding to the displaced families in Gaza 🇵🇸

Always funny watching how much more depressed the local finance journalist at the pub gets. I joked tonight that "You have no idea what's going to happen when it comes to Hormuz".

He glared at me

Misogyny is still alive and well in Australia.

Funny how you change the party, but you still get misogyny, from the PM

So ABC News has gone full A Current Affair by putting a journalist *on the same flight* as the IS women and their children.

I'm sure splashing their names and faces on national television will be a great help as they try to give their kids a chance at something resembling a normal life.

Disgusting behaviour that is not worthy of the ABC.

My daughter's lesbianism is coming along nicely. Weird for a dad to say, but I fully support it.

She's not showing any signs of it being experimentation, and really getting behind the whole lesbian scene. At 11, I kind of get that it's part of who she is already.

At 14 I knew I was bi, not because I'd not thought about it before, but because that was my first romantic/sexual encounter with a dude.

My daughter is already dating a girl, and has even kissed, in front of dad, too

Still holds up:

Alice in Chains - Dirt

Such a great album

I got the "non-apology" call. Lots of "I'm sorry you feel" and shit.

But, me being me, I called her on every fucking one "That's not an apology".

I swear, every 3-4 months this happens. I'm getting too old and too tired for this shit

My daughter was most upset when I said "I'm going home to play some Star Wars: Outlaws".

Apparently school sucks and games are awesome

Not looking forward to this afternoon.

On Sunday my ex-partner decided to go on a lecture about how the kids need to learn LLM use and prompts and blah blah blah to exist. My kids and I are staunchly anti-AI/LLM, so this didn't land well.

My daughter and me both tried to explain our ethical objections, and, as usual, got the whole talk-over-because-I-don't-want-to-hear-it shit. Yay!

It got to the point that she spat the dummy, had a massive cry, and then stormed off to her car.

My daughter tells me she's been using chatbots for weeks
