I am a very direct person. I communicate directly with a mutual first. I don't do give hints/passive aggressive style. I will be direct. Most folks now know, that's how I'll communicate, if I'm longtime mutuals.

I have no issues being direct with folks. I think most folks aren't used to direct communications because they rarely get to experience that in their daily lives. Too many people are scared of directly honest #communication. That's sad.

Now here is parasocial me envious of anyone who garners such DMs, even if it is because they fucked up and are being given a chance to reconcile.

Not that myself am under any illusions that being one's mutual is the same thing as being friends. Will just take the win of not having fucked up enough, thus far, to merit a direct interaction.
