Speaking #solarpunk #ttrpg #gamedesign I'm pretty interested in https://www.rascal.news/forge-bonds-through-pit-stops-and-awkward-road-trip-conversations-in-runeway/ , a journey / coming-of-age / emotional growth game which doesn't suggest that we resolve every problem with violence.

It reminds me of Wanderhome.

It's much more fantastical than the Solarpunk stories I like, but I absolutely love the illustrations there.

It's currently #crowdfunding - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/manaprojectstudio/runeway

Forge bonds through pit stops and awkward road trip conversations in Runeway

A comforting, nostalgic jaunt underpinned by an anti-fascist vision.

@alxd I also really like the vibes and the illustrations this game is giving, though I think it does suffer a bit from KS bloat syndrome (though the runes do look cool). So as a compromise I backed it at the pdf level.

As for less fantastical solarpunk ttrpgs, I guess you already know Roots and Flowers (https://thegiftofgabes.itch.io/roots-and-flowers)? It's a much smaller game and not explicitly about coming of age, but I imagine you could easily make it work for that.

@alxd There's also plenty of games that do coming-of-age very well but are not explicitly solarpunk, like the excellent Extra Ordinary game I was reading recently but also Tales from the Loop, Masks: The Next Generation, or Kids on Bikes. But I imagine turning one of these into a proper solarpunk game (not just aesthetically but thematically) would take quite a bit of work.
