So maybe St. Paddy you could share some luck of the Irish with me or lead me to a pot of gold field of employers ☘️.

I know a variety of languages like #English, #French, #C, #Erlang, #Forth, #C#, #Java, #NodeJS, and poking at #Go. Have a history (if you ask) of experience that can bedazzle when applied.

So Saint Patrick has passed me over. Its clear people looking for jobs see these hashtags threads and share the frustration, but I serious doubt employers are paying attention (though thank you one in YUL for consideration).

I have no clever banter tonight. No witty self promo. No joy. So I'm just going to repeat the basics: I'm a versatile software developer, passionate about creating new software. See my resume

Failing that I've had to start planning ahead for when savings run dry with GoFundMe, which seems wrong when you know you have marketable skills, but no applications get answered. If I find a job before then I'll cancel the GoFundMe (not that has had any interest - horrible at self-promo its seems).

Time to hug puppy and sleep.

@sirwumpus Have you looked into another job that would be easier to get like working at a grocery store? I know it is not ideal, but it is better than having no income. I have a feeling that I may have to do something similar myself as I'm also not very good at marketing myself.
