I just noticed an ultra-weird thing in Firefox, I opened eight images for downloading, and then I started saving every file. For the first one, I chose the target directory, and every single time after, the Save dialog would start in a >random< directory. Why not the last one??? #browser #firefox

I was age 12 (circa 1990) when a local stationery shop put up a pseudo-arcade based on Atari 2600 with Black&White screen and a weird sea game. These Pico9918 replace the old damage-prone TMS9928 video chips (TI994A, Colecovision, MSX, etc) and give HDMI or VGA output. I always wanted an Atari 600XL, I got one in bad shape and shipping broke a corner. I cleaned it, and I got a black screen. Replaced the memories and 74LS158, and managed to get a BASIC screen but failed after a few seconds, I suspected it was the CPU. Today, I cleaned the keyboard, repaired the corner, and while testing cartridges I discovered it started to behave better. So I inserted DKJR twenty times and the problem was solved! #retro #retrogaming #atari

I got another E.T. from the same vendor, and I discovered the cartridges and manuals were switched. Now both are period perfect. Can you notice the 1986 copyright and the differing windows on the spaceship? And the fact that E.T was reedited!
