Not everyone experiences the same rain.
Some have a roof that protects them,
while others have the sky wide open above them with all its harshness.
The cold is the same,
but the ability to endure it is not equal.
And between this difference…
there is responsibility, not a choice.
Being able to help and not doing so
is harsher than the cold itself.

I didn’t sleep all night because of the heavy rain and strong winds. I kept checking the water to make sure it wouldn’t reach the children while they were asleep, but it was no use. We were flooded, and our clothes, blankets, and bedding were soaked and ruined. Please help us.

The infrastructure is completely destroyed, leaving everything fragile in the face of even the simplest conditions.
The situation is hardest for those living in tents…
