Afghanistan 🇦🇫Heavy rains and floods have caused casualties of 11 people in five provinces.
The National Disaster Preparedness Agency stated that floods, causing property damage, have occurred in numerous provinces of the country over the past 24 hours due to rainfall.
Agency spokesperson Mohammed Yousuf Hamad said that five people were killed and six others were injured due to the rains and floods in Parwan, Paktia, Kandahar, Zabul, and Helmand provinces.
Sixteen homes have been completely destroyed and 87 others have been partially damaged.
