In Helmand, a man reunited with his family after fifty years.
A man named Taza Gul, residing in the Behamchi district of Helmand province, has returned to his homeland from Iran with the efforts of the Afghan government.
A member of Taza Gul’s family told Radio Azadi that he left his home approximately fifty years ago for military service under the government of the time and has been missing from them ever since.
According to the family member, contact was re-established with Taza Gul about two years ago through another individual, and they learned he was in Iran.
This member of Taza Gul’s family says that subsequently, with the efforts of the Afghan government, he returned to the country and reunited with them.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs has announced that forces combating crime have apprehended 13 individuals in connection with criminal offenses during various operations in four provinces of the country.
According to information received, six individuals were arrested in Balkh and three in Helmand on charges of theft, two in Laghman for illegal weapon possession, and two others in Nimruz on charges of mobile phone theft.
The Ministry added that the apprehended individuals have been handed over to relevant judicial and legal authorities for further legal proceedings following initial investigations.
