At about the two-mile-mark of my morning run, there's a lonely, abandoned 100 Grand candy bar. It was likely dropped by a careless trick-or-treater last Fall; and it has remained there (sealed!) for almost half-a-year.

Someday it will break me. I will eat the road chocolate. Probably soon.

Don't litter, kids.

It was delicious, by the way. I regret nothing.

Clearly, the people watching me out the front windows of their homes were jealous that I had road chocolate and they didn't.

@RxBrad

Am I pretty much guaranteed of going to hell when I drop by used gel packs on the side of the road?

@cricket_bacon Just some tasty microplastics for the local wildlife. They love it.

@RxBrad

I knew it. I AM going to hell. ... stupid microplastics.

@RxBrad I do love myself a complete story ark
@RxBrad Well, how was it?
@raven Honestly... You wouldn't have known it was sitting on the side of the road for five months... So, delicious.
@RxBrad let the old chocolate flow through you …
@RxBrad Did you bring it home with you or put it in the trash?
@WTL It's waiting for me on the side of the road still... Saving it for later.
