Injured my right knee (patellar tendonitis) in a race when I forgot to wear my patella straps. Got a PR for the 10k but what a stupid, unforced error. Been recovering for two weeks. This morning I did a light 5k and everything seems to be working.
The emotions and frustrations these last two weeks were intense and unexpected.
Going to work on knee stability exercises. Slowly.
Restarting my marathon training plan to week zero.
Felt so good to be back out this morning. I need this.
