@mauvehed fwiw I'm slowly bringing back to life a couple of old Barnes and Noble nook ereaders, restoring my own cloud service for them, since Barnes and Noble decided they didn't want to support old devices.

Last night I finally got dynamic user registration working, rather than every device thinking it had the same static device identifiers.

(cross-post from r/nook because there's not much traction over there) Week of Mar 2 2026 progress: Frustrated that my old Nook Glowlight from 2013 works standalone, but hints at content up in the cloud that I can't download any more, I wondered...
@mauvehed Thanks for a great read and clear set of instructions. Just one thing (isn't there always?) The plugin DeDRM is not available in the list in my Calibre (9.5.0), although looking online did locate https://github.com/noDRM/DeDRM_tools
Is this the version you used?
@mauvehed Thanks for this too, though I am on a Mac it offered a few clues. Lord but they do not make this easy, do they? I feel very fortunate that I don't have any audiobooks.
Doing this slowly, one book at a time from my Kindle Paperwhite into Calibre for conversion. Which is fine.
