Wer jetzt unbedingt WinShit-Zeugs zocken will trotz #Malware (#DRM & "#ClientSideAnticheat") muss halt im Zweifelsfalle eh was performantes durchreichen.

Und Hardwarebeschleunigung ist selbst da Ausnahme… - Gibt mehr Leute die ne dedizierte GraKa + iGPU haben. Braucht nur halt I/O-Redirection. - Alternativ ne gebrauchte GRID/Tesla kaufen weil die können z.T. 16 (!) Consumer-GPUs (bis hin zu ner GTX1070) gleichzeitig simulieren. Sorry, aber was brauchbareres fällt mir nicht ein. Mehrere Ex-(!)Arbeitgeber glaubten mit nicht als ich denen sagte dass mit der #vmware-Übernahme die geshafted werden, und nun haben die z.T. 1000% teurere #Lizensierung|skosten… - Folglich ist es *immer* ein Fehler sich auf proprietäre, Single-Vendor & Single-Provider *"Lösungen"* einzulassen! Schlimmer sind nur #MicroSlop, #SAP und der Voldemort der deutschen Softwareindustrie: #DATEV!
Is there a good way of stripping DRM from kindle ebooks these days, without actually owning a kindle device ? Ive been a bit confused on the state of kindle DRM ever since they killed downloads and the kindle for PC app; and im not a regular of the amazon ecosystem these days.

My wife is switching to Zorin OS from Win10. She needs a replacement for Adobe Digital Edition (ADE) to download protected ebooks. She uses Calibre to remove DRM, but needs to keep the original protected files, which seem only available via ADE. Does anyone know how to download these original protected files without ADE?

In reality, at least in software hacking / modding / reverse engineering not involving copyright infringement, Denuvo has never been a problem. The same cannot be said for all the home-made DRM solutions, whether by 2K or by Capcom.
