🚨Warning Black people!🚨

Another famous white person with trash views has died! Do not use their own words against them, or *moderators may be forced to ban you!🤡

Do not mention that "1000 years of darkness" is a white nationalist and great replacement dog whistle!

Don't mention birtherism!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7ud3pK5Wa90

(*This is not an issue if you're on a well moderated instance on Mastodon, or if you get BlackSky moderation with BlueSky, because they know what they're doing. But random Mastodon or BlueSky moderation could get you banned for not mourning the death of racist white people hard enough🤡).

Chuck Norris' dire warning for America - 2012

YouTube

❌Bad:
This racist dude was good at kicking people in the head.

✅Good:
This great American hero was good at kicking people in the head!

❌Bad:
Birtherism is a super racist movement that led to the alt-right, Project 2025, and where we are today.

✅Good:
I like Walker Texas Ranger!

I know that you Black people don't like racism or racist people, but that's not what's important right now.

What's important is that a lot of white people *do* like them!

And when you read racists' own horrible words back to them, it gives a lot of these other white people sad feelings!

I know that you Black people prefer Bruce Lee. Especially Black people in Los Angeles and San Francisco and Oakland and Berkeley.

But again, this isn't about you.

How Bruce Lee Overcame Racism Through Martial Arts

YouTube

I know that Bruce Lee used his martial arts and movie stardom to work *with* Black civil rights leaders, and to amplify their causes, and that this made him very popular with Black people all over the world.

But again, this isn't about you.

Stop being selfish!

@mekkaokereke thank you for sharing this, mekka, i hadn't heard!! 🎉🪦
@mekkaokereke Ironically (and this is a fun one about me), my parents didn’t like Lee (because he cheated on his wife) so as a kid my pencil case was of John Shaft. (We then moved to New Zealand and the white kids had that puny Luke Skywalker on theirs and I had John freaking Shaft.)
@jackyan @mekkaokereke he's the man
@ATLeagle @mekkaokereke 👍🏿 Shaft doesnʼt deal with pussy stuff like the force.
@mekkaokereke Lee’s “Be like water” one-inch-punches any old roundhouse kick mythology every day and twice on Sunday.

@mekkaokereke It's hard to imagine anyone could prefer Chuck Norris to Bruce Lee.

Hell, I'm not sure I prefer *anybody* to Bruce Lee. I sit down to watch a Bruce Lee movie and the whole time I'm just going "this is the coolest motherfucker who ever lived."

@mekkaokereke Bruce Lee sounds nice I heard a lot of things he was saying. he seems pacifist but fights only when needed at least that's what my quirky teacher said.
@mekkaokereke boo, fuck racism. and I'm white. so

@mekkaokereke I think my skintone puts me in the appropriate category though, so allow me to say it:

Good fucking riddance. Quit being hateful pieces of shit folks.

@mekkaokereke as I’ve gotten older I’ve found white people’s inability to cope with the realization that the casual racism/sexism we were exposed to as children was not, in fact, a universal experience obnoxious

Constantly talking about “childhood ruined” and all that and completely missing the point that this wasn’t a secret, we’re just ignorant and late to the party

Like, it was always this way, we just grew up in an environment where we didn’t see that (and often reaped the benefit of it)

@mekkaokereke does that make sense?

Anyway, following for the past little bit has definitely helped with solidifying this perspective in my head

@mekkaokereke

glad somebody said something, i was stunned to see this dude trending today on Mastodon, yeah, he died & all but frankly he's been dead to me for decades

@mekkaokereke It's never a good sign when quoting someone is deemed offensive rather than seeing the quote itself as offensive.

Charlie Kirk? He had recently said that dead kids were just the cost of his being able to own his guns. Shrug. So, he would've been fine with being murdered with a gun. Shrug. Just the cost of others being able to hold onto their guns.

That people would suddenly become outraged by his own words being used? Crazy talk.

@mekkaokereke About 30 seconds in I spotted those white fabric things over he shoulder hanging on the wall and, Glob help me, for a few seconds I parsed it as coat hooks with a bunch of white robes hanging on them.
@mekkaokereke He was garbage, although I will miss the memes. Let’s try a new one. Chuck Norris was so racist he was awardied a 4th K from the White House.

@mscheffel The best Chuck Norris jokes are Charles Nelson Reilly jokes.

@mekkaokereke
If you get banned for not respecting a white supremacist, you're on a white supremacist instance.
@mekkaokereke yeah, he was a shitbag. I'm convinced that 90% of the people posting lamentations have never seen any of his work and know nothing of the man, outside of the stupid jokes.

@mekkaokereke "Chuck Norris stared evil in the eye and it went into hiding."

- more like "...stared evil in the eye and kept on brushing his teeth."

@mekkaokereke "[yada yada] If nothing else let my children and my children's children say we were justified...[yada yada]"

Because when someone tries to do something good, that's what's going through the mind of the person attempting the good, right?

*Top on the list: I want folks decades down the line to consider me justified*

Not "Suffering was avoided" or "People live better lives."

Nope.

How do you say your motives are questionable and you know it without explicitly saying so?

@mekkaokereke I never liked Chuck Norris but TIL he was worse than I knew.

@linuxandyarn @mekkaokereke

This, here. I was vaguely amused the the jokes about him, but now I'm just disgusted. What an asshole.

@mekkaokereke i didn't know chuck norris was a shithead until my friend told me after he died, what a shame
maybe he did deserve to have all of those people come out of nowhere lightning fast and kick him in his cowboy ass after all
@mekkaokereke Trash views is way too friendly.
@mekkaokereke Holy fuck! I didn't know until today that Chuck was evil incarnate!
@mekkaokereke
Good riddance moron! Hope he burns.
Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו (@netanyahu) on X

Sara and I were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chuck Norris, a great friend of Israel and a close personal friend. Chuck brought martial arts and the warmth of his character to millions around the world. May his memory be a blessing.

@mekkaokereke at least on the instance I'm a mod of, nobody is going to get suspended for not mourning a racist, homophobic piece of shit.

@mekkaokereke One of my coworkers made one of those "Chuck Norris is so strong" jokes once, and I said he was a pretty bad guy so I didn't care to lionize him.

He said, "Just because he disagrees with you doesn't mean he's a bad guy."

I shot back with, "Depends on what we disagree on." I never heard another Chuck Norris joke from him. So, mission accomplished I guess.

sigh I bet he says one on Monday, though.

@Azuaron @mekkaokereke maybe if he does you can just shrug and say "maybe but I guess death is stronger"? 😂
