@BruceMirken I chicstellt hope they do not choose Newsom. If Harris was seen by some as a big city candidate and not enough of a commoner, Newsom will be Harris times 10 in this regard.
Newsom has some very high negatives with large segments of the Dem electorate.
A real primary process, which the Dems have not had since Obama, will reveal the strongest candidate, and doubt it will be Newsom.
