Hmm, forgot about the kimchi I started last week on the table. Tastes pretty good with this much stewing, actually! (pretty sure it can never go bad, it's got so much salt in it lol) #kimchi
**this one is: free beet greens from the farmer's market that would have been thrown in the compost; they are mixed in with the carrot greens that are fed to the rabbits, I intercepted them from the compost pile 🤪 -- mustard weeds harvested from the yard; volunteer arugula; green onions; and (the only purchased item) some garlic, because I do not generally get successful garlic crops. (unclear why my green onions do so well, but garlic does not). #gardening #kimchi

@ai6yr that's an interesting mix!

I might try supplementing my cabbage with beet greens the next time I do sauerkraut... if I have any left. I like beet greens nearly as much as the beets themselves, honestly: so delicious cooked up

@effika Beet greens are underrated, they are delicious.
@ai6yr this botulism tastes funny ...
@dtl @ai6yr Low risk of botulism with sufficient salt, and fermentation to lower the pH.
