I like a variety of things, usually involving science or science fiction. My hobbies are all excuses to collect pretty colors: sewing, quilting, knitting, even baking and running, somehow. Microbiology and food safety person. Every now and then I code something.

I spent 3 hours awake last night as my allergies decided NOW was the time to peak. My eyes are super puffy because they wouldn't stop watering.
Granted, the hours were from 9:30pm to 12:30am, but I use those hours to sleep. I woke up about 6 am and it wasn't enough ðŸ˜
Going to try taking half my allergy meds in the morning and half at night to see if I can head off that circadian histamine peak. The air purifier is running but I need a sealed bubble for a few weeks.
Bit by bit I am coming back from multiple tendon problems, and hopefully I can get back to 5k before my favorite summer race.
Extra slow pace today due to allergies, but it did let me admire this yucca! #running #flowers
