Pretty sure this is an English Sheepdog. If I have it wrong, please correct me. :)

On the other hand...
Another "name that breed." :)
If I've misidentified this little chap, please let me know.
This puppy saw my open camera bag and crawled in. Its human allowed me to rub its head while it took a breath from the crowd, then off they went again. :)
@wandrecanada Possibly a young one. Its body doesn't seem as thick as the images I am looking at to compare, though.
And, yeah, the angle. :)
@CStamp I did some research and it seems you're probably right on the Boston Terrier. They apparently have the Tuxedo markings and are more narrow at the back.
Frenchies are more stout like bulldogs with that wide stance.
@jimluther Thanks. :)
They sound like easy companions for the most part. Much more so than something like a border collie. :)
@CStamp Maybe it was something I heard briefly watching a competition. But the implication was that Border Collies basically excel in all of these areas (incredibly smart, damn fast and extremely agile, etc).
I keep seeing terms like ABC (Anything But Collies) popping up
@hasani They are absolutely all that.
This suggests that they do compete with other breeds: “In an Agility Trial the Border Collies are the dogs to watch, the ones with the most speed, grace, and sheer athletic ability. They may not be the most accurate and therefore may be beaten by a slower but careful (boring) dog, but they are exciting and the ones who get the loudest cheers from the crowd.”
