This puppy saw my open camera bag and crawled in. Its human allowed me to rub its head while it took a breath from the crowd, then off they went again. :)
WandreCanada@CStamp Could easily be a French Bulldog. They are very close visually and that's a crazy angle
@wandrecanada Possibly a young one. Its body doesn't seem as thick as the images I am looking at to compare, though.

@CStamp I did some research and it seems you're probably right on the Boston Terrier. They apparently have the Tuxedo markings and are more narrow at the back.
Frenchies are more stout like bulldogs with that wide stance.

Szescstopni@CStamp It does look like an Old English Sheepdog. And being a descendant of of the Bearded Collie makes it also a descendant of the Polish Lowland Sheepdog. Bruno, our Polish Lowland Sheepdog, says hi.

@hasani I've never heard that term. This was part of an exhibition that was part of a huge event selling everything from dog leashes to dog spas, so I image all dogs were welcome.
@CStamp Maybe it was something I heard briefly watching a competition. But the implication was that Border Collies basically excel in all of these areas (incredibly smart, damn fast and extremely agile, etc).
I keep seeing terms like ABC (Anything But Collies) popping up
@hasani They are absolutely all that.
This suggests that they do compete with other breeds: “In an Agility Trial the Border Collies are the dogs to watch, the ones with the most speed, grace, and sheer athletic ability. They may not be the most accurate and therefore may be beaten by a slower but careful (boring) dog, but they are exciting and the ones who get the loudest cheers from the crowd.”
