These are the only native rabbits in Nova Scotia. Sadly, bunny dumping is a thing, so you might see bunnies hopping around in some areas. But this is a hare, and I haven't seen anything but hares in this area.

I was cautiously sneaking around the corner of a cottage, moving veeeeeery slowly, to get this close. :)
One more. I got this close, inching on my belly. Then, I am proud to say, I quietly retreated back around the building corner, with the hare still munching away. :)
