Google und Facebook/Meta geben Nutzer:innendaten an die US-amerikanische Polizei weiter, damit diese Menschen verfolgen kann, die Informationen zu Abtreibungen suchen.

Und das ist nur ein Beispiel. Morgen kann schon illegal sein, was heute noch legal ist und etwaige Datenschutzgesetze können auch in Europa gelockert werden, während die Überwachungsinfrastruktur, Digitalzwänge/Abhängigkeiten und der Zugriff auf Gesundheitsdaten immer invasiver werden.

Und das ist jetzt überraschend, weil? Das hat so ziemlich jeder der sich für #Datenschutz und #Privatsphäre einsetzt von Anfang an gesagt.

Deshalb hat z.B. #Posteo auch Zahlung via Bargeld in Briefen. (Und #ProtonMail hat theoretisch, wenn auch versteckt, genau deshalb die Bezahlung via Crypto oder für Accounts anderer).

@agowa338 für uns eigentlich überhaupt nicht, da uns das durchaus klar is wie unser Kanal content zeigt. Schadet allerdings definitiv nicht Unwissende darüber in Kenntnis zu setzen. Scheinbar glaubt der ein oder andere Mensch nämlich noch immer an die Sicherheit von Proton und co ;)

Well, nichts ist 100% sicher. Und man sollte halt immer wissen, was ein Dienst machen kann und was nicht.

Z.B. Zahlungsdaten rausgeben wäre jetzt so ziemlich das erste was ich bei JEDEM dienst erwarten würde. Genauso wie eine Liste der letzten n-IPs von denen aus der Zugriff erfolgt ist. Sowie alle anderen arten von Telemetriedaten wie z.B. der Verwendete Browser etc.

Ist ja immer so. Threat Modelling, so wichtig :)

Schlimm wenn nicht mal mehr Proton Sicher ist. Welche Möglichkeiten gibt es noch um sich vor dieser kranken Überwachung zu schützen ? Wie ist es mit der Hardware ID ? ( UUID, Seriennr. ... u.s.w. )

Naja, du musst halt schon wissen, wovor dich was schützt. Und wie bereits gesagt wurde, Proton bietet scheinbar auch Zahlung mit Bargeld per Brief an, da hast du die Probleme dann nicht.

Und dann ist da noch "layern" von VPN Diensten. Also 2 verschiedene holen und mit dem zweiten durch den ersten durch verbinden. Dann kennt der zweite VPN Provider noch nicht einmal deine Source zu Destination zuordnung.

Habe auch schon von 3-4 gehört...
