The Raid and The Raid 2 for me. Also the Karl Urban Judge Dredd.
@TheBreadmonkey yeah! I saw the raid quite recently. I don't remember enjoying the raid 2 as much but maybe I should give it another try.
I love films like the raid or the Karl urban dredd where the story is so so simple it gets out of the way. "Some guys are trying to get to a place (and then back out) ". Boom lets go. Fury Road is another great example.
Shoot 'Em Up (2007)

It has been my impression that Urban loved that role and has actively been trying to find a way to get back to it, so he could do it again.
I would support this.

So noted, Laz.

Is he the coffee guy?
'F1' requires no brain activity to enjoy.
@Scmbradley I'd recommend Crank, or The Beekeeper as fun Jason Statham action flicks.
We also had fun with the bizarre Japanese punk band versus zombies (and aliens) film "Wild Zero" from (1999)
@Scmbradley Free
Fire from A24. β90 minutes of mindless shootoutsβ. Magnificent.
@Scmbradley
Cocaine Bear is surprisingly better than it has any right to be
Also, seconding the recommendation of Kung Fu Hustle
Oh, and Kung Fury starts as a brilliantly over the top parody of 80s action films, and then becomes even more absurd, all crammed into 30 minutes (Contains cartoon-style violence and gore from the start)
