I read out the new epilogue to my partner last night to get her opinion.
1. I got the reaction I was looking for. Hit the right beat. Huzzah!
2. My wording was, rightfully so, clunky and awkward. Maybe I should clean up the last third of the book I rewrote before subjecting beta readers to it. 😆
