What’s the best game you’ve played recently?
@gamingonlinux oh no there's so little to choose from I might actually have to say Dynasty Warriors 9...
@gamingonlinux Ball x pit. Really addictive, but really good music, sound and visuals. Also break out style.
@gamingonlinux Terraria, the 1.4.5 update has brought so many great things
@gamingonlinux Caravan SandWitch is still stuck in my head. I think I'm near the end, I need to get back to it and finish it. Just need to wrestle the Steam Deck away from children first.
@gamingonlinux Dispatch, I know very mainstream. But I was very surprised that I can get it working on linux from day zero.
@gamingonlinux Super Battle Golf for sure
@gamingonlinux
Factorio. Still my favourite after all the years.
@gamingonlinux @aqunt Thank Goodness You’re Here!
@gamingonlinux Not sure if it's the "best" by any single metric, but it's certainly addictive.
@gamingonlinux I really only play Guild Wars 2 these days. No new games really interest me.
@gamingonlinux uuuuh, loaded question. I'll go with OpenTTD still :)

@ben @gamingonlinux

That's what I wanted to post, too. I rediscovered it a few weeks ago (after having played ages ago already), and it's just such a nice, relaxing game.
Just slowly building my network and watching the trains roll around.

@gamingonlinux Finally got around to finishing Rise of the Tomb Raider.
@gamingonlinux Stellar Blade. That's simply one awesome game. Went right into New Game+ after 100%ing the first run. Runs very, very well on Linux.

@gamingonlinux I've been busy grinding WoW Burning Crusade classic, but my friend streamed LA Noire and it was a really fun watch.

I did start Bear and Breakfast and it seems good but I haven't gotten far enough in to really judge.

@gamingonlinux Aerial_Knight's DropShot and Relooted
@gamingonlinux probably i'll considering whether racing games like nfs or sega gt is my best game or probably minecraft is the best one. to be frank, i don't really play much any new games as i didnt have any funtime again to play other than racing games or minecraft. nevertheless, for my choice only minecraft is the best game that i've been played recently, as the community on there are pretty solid which i can select any modpack or server that i liked it. so it won't never boring again since these game is quite well-matured and solid.
@gamingonlinux From oldest to newest: Downfall (Slay the Spire mod), Brotato and Mewgenics.
#videogame
@gamingonlinux Honestly? I rekindled a love for Eve Online. There's just something about it that nothing else can match.
@gamingonlinux Hmm, for me it's been Helldivers 2

@gamingonlinux The Last Caretaker, an unfinished but already very cool Subnautica-like experience

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1783560/The_Last_Caretaker/

The Last Caretaker on Steam

The Last Caretaker is a thoughtful take on the survival-crafting genre, where every decision you make and every action has a consequence. It offers a deep world exploration experience where step-by-step, you uncover the truth behind the reawakening of the last caretaker.

@anji @gamingonlinux This looks like a really cool game. I might give it a try. Thank you for posting this!!
@gamingonlinux Gotta be Wanderburg demo, for that 15-minute casual fix (and you recommended it, too, so thanks for that).

@gamingonlinux Just finishing Expedition 33, only one boss remains so I've been grinding and looking at guides, cause the bastard is tough as heck.

Once it's done, is time for Kingdom come deliverance 2!!

@gamingonlinux the settlers 2 gold from gog with RttR engine ;)
@gamingonlinux Kirby on Nintendo Switch (1)
@gamingonlinux Haste. The best Sonic-like game, and it wasn't even made by Sega. Best fun I've had in a long while.
@gamingonlinux game with flawless, native Linux build? Bryce Tiles, always
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2144990/Bryce_Tiles/
Bryce Tiles on Steam

A Manhattan/taxicab-geometric tile-based isometric-sokoban puzzle game featuring everyone's favorite 90's anti-hero, Bryce! You'll push boxes across tiles, sands, still waters, rapids, moving floors, ice and coals to move into position! Don't forget to redirect the lasers and evade those enemies!

@gamingonlinux Hands down, it has to be Mewgenics.
@gamingonlinux Ant Colony: Wild Forest (Demo), by far. Highly addictive and SO fun.

@gamingonlinux Mewgenics. 25% complete and more than 40 hours played.

I had holiday :)

@gamingonlinux I've been addicted to Beat Invaders since the new year, it's kind of a modern take on Space Invaders with rogue-like progression, and I still occasionally play 99 Nights in the Forest on Roblox
@gamingonlinux haven't played anything interesting since Disco Elysium
@tuvok @gamingonlinux I also liked #DiscoElysium, but that was also not recently enough. But I did play something great lately: #Routine 🌕
Wow, that was a trip! 🤯 https://lunar-software.squarespace.com/games

LUNAR SOFTWARE
@tuvok haven't played anything interesting since Rimworld xD
I installed Disco Elysium yesterday : wish me luck
@gamingonlinux
@gamingonlinux It’s still Elden Ring. Playing through it in seamless coop mode with my 13yo.
@gamingonlinux playing fallout London rn. Just played half life legacy. Both 10/10 honestly
@gamingonlinux I like shiny new things so... Civilisation IV. 😂
It still has an active modding community despite being almost 20 years old.
@gamingonlinux
Still addicted to Planet Crafter + DLC... 😅
@gamingonlinux Rise of the Tomb Raider
@gamingonlinux lately I have mostly played MWO and Elite Dangerous, on PC. I also like driving games, like Gran Turismo serie, with good steering wheel and pedals. Fps games are also high on my list of goto games, like Wolfenstein; Enemy territory, on PC, with keyboard and mouse. Newer really got grip of playing with console controllers.

@gamingonlinux Been playing Nobody Saves the World online co-op with a friend, which has been pretty fun.

Also "finished" Parking Garage Rally Circuit enough to get to the end credits.

@gamingonlinux I’d say for one I’ve completed recently it has to be Elden Ring with seamless co-op. It was a big help having a friend or two play with me that knew how to progress in the game. I just finished the intro arc to Where Winds Meet. The story was pretty good but I really enjoyed the combat mechanics and the game is just beautiful! It also runs pretty good on Linux!! Though make sure to put it on an SSD. It has to load textures in real time anda spinning disk is too slow.

@gamingonlinux I think it's the game "Fish Fillets", available for free on Ubuntu Linux as well as on many other operating systems:

https://fillets.sourceforge.net/

Otherwise, yesterday I've chosen to play "Heroes of the Might and Magic 2" instead, although its legality is a bit grayish (still, Google suggested it to me, so I think it is Okay):
