Interested in #Mathematics, #Parapsychology, #NaturalTheology and #Success, I may share useful links in these or broader areas (e.g. eco-friendy ideas, critique of Christianity, etc).

This bilingual blog post is about the idea of #ecofriendly (public) catering. I don't know what is the state of this in different countries, but I think there are always ways to improve.

Public catering like that of schools or hospitals can be commanded to have Meatless Mondays, and my idea is that we can also "stimulate" this at other places, e.g. in private canteens, by classification / certificate.

Környezetbarát közétkeztetést - Eco-friendly catering

A tervezett új klímatörvény véleményezésekor találtam ezt az ötletet (eredetileg nem az én ötletem), de mintha már régebbről emlékeznék vala...

We could argue about these, e.g. Apollonius could mean that the wise would work less, and therefore they would be poor, and I would also support that the wise should work less. However, in Apollonius's approach it may still be wrong that (all) the others should be rich.

"I pray," said Apollonius, "that
righteousness may rule, the laws remain unbroken, the wise be poor and
others rich, but honestly"

I DISAGREE. There should be wise people who are also rich, in my opinion. The rich should be wiser, on average, to make the government more beneficial.

Natural Theology by William Paley

I've finished listening to this #audiobook yesterday. I've listened to it for 3 reasons:

- it is a classic
- I already recommended it to the readers of my #ebook
- I am generally learning (building myself) in the areas of Natural Theology and Parapsychology in these days

However, after knowing the works of Charles Darwin and Richard Dawkins, this audiobook did not have a huge effect on me.

Apollonius of Tyana, the Philosopher-Reformer of the First Century A.D. by Mead

I've finished reading this #ebook today. I read it because I've read somewhere else that Apollonius resurrected someone, like Jesus, and lived in the same age. Interesting things to remember:

- Apollonius was not only #vegetarian but his clothes and shoes were also not made of animals

- Apollonius and his followers took a vow of silence for some years while learning

The Book Of Jasher

I've finished listening to this yesterday. If it is not a counterfeit, then this book is mentioned in the Bible (I'm not sure if this is the only claim for this title), and it covers the time of books of Moses (especially the Genesis) and Joshua in a different way. The fighting skills of the Hebrews are quite unbelievable in it, for example. It considers some artifacts powerful, like the wand of Moses or the garment of Nimrod.

Mistakes of Moses by Robert G. Ingersoll

I've finished listening to this #audiobook yesterday. It has some good arguments I did not include in my own (e)books. E.g.

- How could the people of Israel proliferate in Egypt so quickly? "We know that seventy people could not increase to three million in two hundred and fifteen years."

- What did the domestic animals of the people of Israel eat in the wilderness (at the time of the Exodus)?

There is a #game in #Ubuntu Linux called "Fish Fillets" (it is a port of an older game for Windows) that I can praise now. It's much better than Sokoban or Chess, because it is relatively easy to write #AI for those, but when playing "Fish Fillets", thinking is less mechanical and more creative. I guess it is the best logic game ever. I would like to finish this game before I die, but many other things have high priority, too.

Today I had a new #ecofriendly idea: We should not buy/use "bin liners"/"trash bags", but we should put the trash directly in the small dustbin inside and when it is full, pour its contents directly in the big dustbin outside. However, I did not write a blog post about it, because this idea is not scalable easily (belongs to #ethics of individuals, not to #economics or #politics ) and even my mother does not agree with it. #environment #climatechange
