Ayatollah Khamenei ELIMINATED

من الشام لطهران، الوجع واحد… بس الأمل كمان واحد.
ما في ظلم بيدوم، والحرية حق لكل إنسان.
كل التضامن مع الشعب الإيراني

This is the joy of freedom.

While some of you prepare for the next round of moral commentary from a safe distance, remember this: oppression isn’t an aesthetic.

If your morals change with what’s trending, they were never morals

From Damascus to Tehran, I send my love to every Iranian who will live free

LETS FUCKING GO!!!!!!

This mutherfucker outlived TWO ayatollahs

@flexghost

The king is dead!
Long live the king!

@flexghost If the people of Iran are happy about this then that's a good thing. I think it's too early to say that the regime is over. There are a lot of violent IRGC agents out there still with weapons. It will take continued support to make sure they don't coalesce back into something just as bad and continuous support is the area the U.S. is least capable. Celebrate now, but the work has just begun. Perhaps Iraq will be more able to move forward as well if the whole region decides it wants this regime to end.
@InorganicFella a very good take. It is up to the people and hopefully they don’t go back to the Shah either. Many countries do not want a rich democracy in the area and many tankies on here as well. They can suck it.
@flexghost I'm so sick of dictators and puppet governments and racist nationalism and extremist factions and on and on. I hope they are able to get a real government. There is no reason Iran should be a poor isolated country ruled by assholes anymore.
@flexghost @InorganicFella this but also I’m worried about what our insane fascist regime is going to try to do over there. Since the narcissist believes he has to stick his filthy little money-grubbing fingers into everything. And we know they hate Muslims.
@AmandaGrace @flexghost I think the lack of any connections between Iran and the U.S. will work in their favor because nobody will know how to "make deals" with anyone there. I'm sure the bad maga intentions will cause the Iranian people suffering, but I don't think maga will know what to do which both harms and benefits the people.

@flexghost

My friends haven't been able to call their families for a long time, and the internet has often been unavailable. I hope that many families will soon be able to talk to each other again and that normal travel will be possible as soon as possible.

Hopefully: peace for the people, freedom for the whole country. ☘️

@fflyn I’m talking with some on telegram and it’s spotty I hope your loved ones send word soon

@flexghost

I wish them that with all my heart. Maybe I'll meet them at the café tomorrow. ☘️

Love also needs proximity, otherwise the heart cries. Parents and siblings wait for news from their children and grandchildren, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews.

In our world, communication should be just as natural. The fact that regimes always like to cut off communication channels is simply too much power in the wrong hands.

@flexghost people may tend to think of iran as a backwater but they are really an advanced country, if they can muster us good governance (ie democracy with free and fair elections) then their trajectory and prospectus could be excellent - that is my 2c but wait and see what happens, they had some assistance but the future depends on the choices they make, cautious optimism, no guarantees, look at afghanistan #polysci
@gary_alderson 100 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@flexghost Hapoy for the Iranian people. I hope they are able to create some sort of governance system that represents the people.

Beyond that point, it’s unfortunate that our wannabe monarch president refuses to communicate with the American people the objectives of this operation.

@flexghost
It didn't happen and if it did its a joke and if it's not an joke it's good that ir happened anyway and if it's not good you're overreacting

Edit: This should be in SpOnGeBoB caps, or have a /s

@flexghost
oh boy, I've spent an uncomfortable amount of time trying to find the "This is how they behave" thing this was supposed to be a reference to and I'm starting to feel like it's not as a common of a reference as I first though
@EndlessMason oh I think I get it! Thank you
@flexghost
I messed it up, it's supposed to start with "he didn't say that, but if he did ..."

@flexghost Hey @flexghost. You back in da house, LOL.

This garbage in the oval office, seems to be hell bent on whatever he can do to take our attention away from the Epstein files… Even if that means starting an unnecessary war.. That’s the common consensus from most, at least...

@rlstone4dems lol while possibly true why can’t this almost 50 year long ordeal also exist haha yeah the whole world is only about American issues
@flexghost @rlstone4dems It's not, but Trump is the devil I know.
@flexghost it’s dark there already

@liilliil what’s your point? Oh you don’t have one. This video is from initial strikes

Let the lefty Olympics begin

@flexghost @liilliil I'll bite. I'd be happy for them if they didn't have DJT to thank for it. I predict the boost in DJT's (and Bibi's) approval numbers will do the world more harm than whatever good the elimination of Khamenei will do. At this point, 2015 will probably be the high point of trans rights for my lifetime. I will concede that there was an upside to this (albeit outweighed by the downside) IF (big IF) whatever fills that power vacuum happens to be both militantly liberal and militantly secular. More likely it will be yet another restoration of the monarchy. Accuse me of TDS if you must, but I do not share your happiness. I really had my heart set on an L for all of Trump's projects, including this.
@liilliil nice emoji flags in your profile 😂
@flexghost Let’s hope the decapitation strategy works out. The only way to avoid a nightmare.

@axeln LETS GO

Watch everyone’s true colors come out once again as they they the right hashtags in their bio and posts but support this awful regime

IRAN WILL BE FREE

@flexghost @axeln I dread and laugh at them 🤣
@flexghost Also sending love, and support to every Iranian seeking peace...
@flexghost I'll be checking in with my Iranian-Canadian son in law for his feelings about this, for sure!!
@jonjimama and report back. My Farsi is not great but friends are overjoyed but hard to get up to date news
@flexghost I sure will. His mother is there in Canada and I'm sure she's interested (we share a birthday!)
@jonjimama LETS MAKE TADIG AND BASTANI!!!!

@flexghost
Per his wife ( my kid):

At the moment his mom is happy because it means potential regime change, but Farzad and I are both disgusted by the girls' school bombing and US and Israeli interventionism. I do not trust any outlet pulling its information only from Israel military sources because their media has been demonstrated to run a narrative. As far as middle eastern news I prefer Al-Jazeera

@flexghost

There are now sites like https://ground.news that pull sources on a topic from everywhere and show bias and coverage, but ultimately the folks on the ground in Iran are harder to reach because they decided to do this during Ramadan.

@flexghost

Ultimately I am for the liberation of the oppressed and also against warmongering. So my take is more nuanced than most on this. I think Iranians in Canada asking the US to help them change regime are on fool's errand; the US' track record and history show they never end up actually helping (e.g. the destabilization of Afghanistan after withdrawal and the events beforehand)

@flexghost

Farzad (son-in-law) is very remorseful that this even happened, despite what he knows happened to his family, because of the aforementioned track record.

@flexghost

It's possible to condemn the oppression of the Iranian people, and also to be skeptical about whether freedom will be the result of the U.S./Israeli attacks. Neither the U.S. nor Israel have a track record of promoting freedom, least of all in Iran.

And I say that as someone who had high hopes for the 1979 revolution.

@BlueDot ok let’s turn this into a way to condemn countries you don’t like while it’s at the expense of people being oppressed and slaughtered. They can wait until their liberation meets your specifications. Your chai is ready.

@flexghost

You aren't listening to what I actually said.

Again, I'm glad to see an oppressive regime fall. And I'm worried that there will be massive civilian casualties, because Trump and Netanyahu don't give a fuck about civilian casualties. And I'm skeptical that a pro-liberty, pro-democracy interim government will come to power as long as Trump and Netanyahu have ambitions there.

@BlueDot no this is just another case of a man telling me what to think and feel I read your “point” and how you try to frame this into your own narrative. May you always smell of patchouly and copium. This isn’t about you or your narrative.
@flexghost @BlueDot Tell ya what, I'll celebrate this death but I'll celebrate DJT's with more enthusiasm. Fair?
@flexghost I only hope that there is little suffering added to the people in a bad spot. This wasn't done to help them, so we can only hope that a better tomorrow is in the cards.
@ATLeagle let’s look at 47 the other way and compare what is happening now though
@flexghost I wish the most disgusting examples of "leaders" of "the West" weren't the ones in charge of this. If there is any way to screw it up, they will screw it up. If the decapitation strike really happened and worked, there must be a whole lot of people in Iran providing intelligence. I hope the people of Iran are able to purge the remaining regime's murderous thugs.
