@flexghost @liilliil I'll bite. I'd be happy for them if they didn't have DJT to thank for it. I predict the boost in DJT's (and Bibi's) approval numbers will do the world more harm than whatever good the elimination of Khamenei will do. At this point, 2015 will probably be the high point of trans rights for my lifetime. I will concede that there was an upside to this (albeit outweighed by the downside) IF (big IF) whatever fills that power vacuum happens to be both militantly liberal and militantly secular. More likely it will be yet another restoration of the monarchy. Accuse me of TDS if you must, but I do not share your happiness. I really had my heart set on an L for all of Trump's projects, including this.
