@NickEast_IndieWriter In 2022 there were 714 public libraries in Finland. The Finnish page for "fast food" on Wikipedia counts at least 900 fast food restaurants, but it's missing at least one big chain and it's not counting all the individual kebab/pizza places which are everywhere. So I'd confidently say it's not true. Unless you only count "chains", in which case it's very true.

Oh I adore these beautiful libraries.
If I ever get to visit finland, I suspect most of my trip will be spent in libraries.

Maybe they counted the 118 Mobile libraries as well? still not enough, but getting closer.

@Anke I think in that case it would apply to almost every country with more than a handful of libraries, which is why I assumed that wasn't what it meant.

It’s true in the US. There are around 17,000 libraries and only a few hundred fast food chains. Of course the fast food chains do have a lot more locations.
