Intro to SPARQL and Wikidata Query Service (EN) Free Knowledge Habitat 39c3
The WIkidata Query Service (WDQS) is one of the main services to get data from Wikidata. In this workshop we'll explore the SPARQL query language that allows us to access data as well as the WDQS UI, a helpful UI in which we can write and run queries. The goal is that you'll be able to write your own queries and explore Wikidata's data by the end of the session.

good morning! (I'll keep tagging #39c3 for filters' sake until I conclude the thread when I'm done traveling or so)
it's important to let other #39c3 creatures on the train recognize you as one of their own (ec selfie)

current status: wishing some wiki people would chill out a bit more in requesting my attention while I’ve been busy irl over the past few days
but also I can’t really blame them for not being aware of that, I guess
I fulfilled a few minor edit requests when I had some spare time, but left others open for later; and now I’m wondering if that was a mistake because it might have given people the wrong impression that I could be expected to be as active as usual, and I shouldn’t have edited at all
