If you haven’t read this yet, you should. It’s the funniest thing you will read this Christmas.

I thought an edible would take the edge off family Christmas. I spent the day on the floor

If there’s anything worse than children yelling in your ear as you wonder if you’ll regain the capacity to distinguish a door from a window, I haven’t experienced it

The Guardian

@trib I totally couldn't relate 😄

The quantities I take weed, I'd barely notice 😂

@sortius it’s particularly funny to us because of an inadvertent ingestion of an edible just after Christmas a few years back.
@trib just gotta strap in and enjoy the ride, really

@trib

Now *that's* a proper Xmas. 😵‍💫🤯😂

@trib As someone who once made the utterly idiotic mistake of trying a “small dose edible” once and then deciding it didn’t work and popped another one, I can totally relate to 1. Laying face forward flat out and trying to not even move a muscle, including an eyelid, 2. Trying to convince my son maybe I should go to ER because I thought hearing my heartbeat very very loud was a bad symptom , and 3. learning that feeling really high for 24 hours straight is really not as fun an experience as some may believe. At least I did not do this on a Big Occasion. Whoa.
@trib that genuinely made me feel better on a crap Xmas, thank you
@Tattie I hope I made a rough day a touch better. May future days improve.
@trib This is exactly the reason would rather stick to the old fashioned means. Even if almost retired in this regard, I'm an experienced drunkard, and I know dosage and outcomes quite well. 😅
