My teenage son is very thoughtful.

He was out hanging with his friends today down at the mall, and he saw THIS, and thought I might love it.

What a wonderful gift.
He wanted to make sure that I knew it was on sale, and was only $12. 😂

This book has dual text throughout, with both German AND English print.

A really cool book about the different impacts that vinyl culture has had on each passing generation, from the 50s up til now. Also spends time on the graphic design and art of records, as well as how the changing technologies has effected the medium.

Clearly, for nerds vinyl nerds like me, it’s pretty awesome.

The subtitle reference, *You Spin Me Right Round*, ... like a record...

I will admit that I had the Dead or Alive single "You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record)" on a 45. ... it might have even been the *last* 45 I ever bought.

The mall music store had a bin near the cash register of 45s based on the weekly or monthly top 20.

I did the same.
7”s, cassette singles, clearance bins of both records and tapes.

I still do the same. Minus the cassettes.
