Quick #question about #lgbtqia labels:
for a #research project we need to distinguish (in presentation, abstract, etc.) between the following two groups, and we don't know how to do it in a relatively text-economical way:

  • LGBQIA+ (no T)
  • Trans and gender diverse (TGD)
  • What's a not-too-wordy way to say #1? Is there a standard term or acronym out there that seems to work for most people? Students have suggested "LGB", "LGBTQIA without Trans", "non-trans queer", "cisgender queer", "cisgender LGB", etc. None of these seems to quite fit the bill, but many of them seem semi-OK.
