@autismunicorn @autistics Preferably night owl, but there was a time some years ago when I „rotated“ through the 24-hour-day of Earth with 26-hour-days. And at the moment I feel that my brain would like to do that again.

Naturally a night owl forced to be an early bird now because I literally have birds (chickens) that need to be let out at dawn. 🤣

I used to be such a night owl, for most of my life, and hated mornings, had no focus, but lately I find myself waking up early, going to bed early, and my fave time to do art or paint is while I’m still enjoying my giant morning coffee.

I’m a 3rd thing. The one upside to being too disabled to work is I’ve realised I’m not actually a severe chronic insomniac. What I am is on a 26 hr cycle, not a 24 hr one.
I now (fairly consistently) sleep for 8 hrs then am awake for 18. Today that meant going to sleep at about 5pm & waking up at 1am. Tonight I’ll go to sleep around 7pm until about 3am. If I tried to stay awake until 11pm I’d still wake up at 3am
