1 lb of ground meat - 90/10 is fine. You do need some fat for flavor.
GOYA abobo seasoning - a few shakes over the meat. Don't go nuts with this!
1 carrot diced very small
1 yellow potato diced to 1/2" cubes
1 GOYA Sazon packet
2 tbsps of GOYA Recaito
1/4 cup of tomato paste
1/4 cup of red cooking wine
1/2 cup of beef bone broth
2 tbsp of GOYA pitted alcaparrado (olives, etc)

@Alexjusino from my googling Goya Sazon seems to have different varieties. Is that right? Do you have a recommended one?

@cameronmcefee glad you liked it. I have a question on the chickpea flour. I used the recipe on the back of the Bob Red Mill bag and it felt very dense. Do you add more water/olive oil than it calls for so it's a little bit lighter?
@Alexjusino I haven’t before, but it probably depends on what you are making. I’d also say it’s accurate to call chickpea flour dense in general since it’s from a legume and not a grain. Chickpea pancakes aren’t fluffy, they’re more thick and pliable.
@cameronmcefee It does remind me of making hummus, I’m going to try it with a little more water / olive oil and I will report back.
@cameronmcefee Add olive oil into a hot sauce pot (I use my LeCruset Dutch oven) , add in the carrots and potatoes, sautΓ© for a five minutes. Add the Recaito, meat, red cooking wine, bone broth, red tomato paste and make sure to season the meat with the Adobo. Cook the meat for about ten minutes covered at medium to low heat. Add the alcaparrado continue cooking for another 10 mins uncovered or until both the meat, potatoes and carrots are cooked. Serve over rice or use as filling for empanadas
