One of the things that hit me the weirdest about the rise of LLMs in terms of UX is that prior to 2023, UX was all targeted around getting things to happen as fast as possible. Quick results, quick performance, stable layouts, etc.
And then suddenly weβve got this new UX situation weβre waiting on robots that write to us one token at a time and now the UX involves making it look like something is happening and not taking forever while we actually wait forever for something to happen.
