Happy birthday, Dad. Time to come back now, it’s all gone a bit rubbish without you. ❤️❤️❤️
@rhipratchett In a way, I'm happy he didn't have to experience some of the recent developments.
Still, he's a big loss.
@rhipratchett As a way to celebrate him, I introduced my youngest son (12) to your father's works.
He spent the 4-hours train ride giggling to *The Colour of Magic*.
@rhipratchett One of the most remarkable writers who ever lived, and greatly missed. In time I'm sure the world will acknowledge him as Dickens' equal.
@hedders @rhipratchett Personally, I can say that I've read far more Terry Pratchett than I've read Dickens.

@rhipratchett
"YOU KNOW, AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF ST. PETER, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO GO BACK."

"Nah", said Franciscus, "can I send Sir Terry instead? A new pope with some fantasy wouldn't hurt."

@rhipratchett am currently listening to „going postal „ (again) on the journey to and from work and it is (still) marvellous, much chortling and mirth but also sizeable dollops of wisdom and gems such as the „smoking gnu“. He was definitely a one-of-a-kind author and is missed here too 👍
@rhipratchett Happy Birthday to an amazing human being 💜
@rhipratchett Happy Birthday Mr Pratchett, the world is indeed a sadder place without your continued insight, wit and kindness.

@rhipratchett truly. on one hand, i’d take great solace in the surgically sharpened barbs he’d arrange in his writing right now. on the other, i’m somewhat glad he didn’t have to witness the slide into these depths.

i can only judge from his writing and what others spoke of him, but i get the impression he was not one to have an easy time letting go of the upset caused by an utter wrongness.

@rhipratchett we all miss him, but you more than most.
@t_slider @rhipratchett … I know what you mean. However after 25 years I carry my loss with pride. They legacies will live on in their son and daughters.
@rhipratchett He's still there in the clacks.
@rhipratchett I can’t help but wonder what sir Terry would have made of our current situation. Interesting times, to say the least.
@ArtHarg @rhipratchett He would have absolutely gone to town with it. He would have put Unseen University's librarian in the orange moron's shoes and wreaked havoc across the length and circumference of discworld.
@rhipratchett you're so right. Somehow the world seemed so much more tolerable then.
@rhipratchett his works influenced my life more than anyone else's 💖
@rhipratchett Happy birthday! Time for a re-read I guess:

@rhipratchett Read every book but the last one - which I have been putting off for too long.

I will have to read them all again and again.

The world is a worse place without people like your father - a true star.

#GNUTerryPratchett

@rhipratchett As long as we can still dream.
@rhipratchett Your dad has indeed written some good books that were made in the form of audio books but I can't remember which ones! Btw you can follow me if you'd like and I'll follow back!
@rhipratchett always in our hearts. GNU Sir Terry
@rhipratchett but just a bit! *cough* - you know what, it’s been ages since i read him. i’m grabbing a book today. reading him is the least we can do against all this madness. all the best! losing dad continues to be shit from my experience, but giving in is no option ❤️
@rhipratchett For all of us. Rereading Discworld in order for the umpteenth time right now (currently on "Going Postal"). Your Dad was a lighthouse in stormy seas for many of us. I'm sorry for your loss.
