@kyle@BasicAppleGuy Fun fact: if you provide your Mac.com address to an Apple Store employee, you’ll ever get « oh wow » (old Apple employee) or « hmm no it did not exist, you can’t have such a domain name, we would not allow it » (very young employee).
@ggete haha yes I can confirm and it's almost funny for me because sometimes people think I'm 25 so having a @mac.com address seems kind of impossible... but I have one ☺️ @kyle@BasicAppleGuy
@BasicAppleGuy mobileMe sadly. so now i have (a)me.com email which is a bit embarrassing because it makes me either look super egocentric or it looks like im part of some ME patients interest organization. i'm so envy of the .mac guys and gals.
@BasicAppleGuy iTools : I used it to host my first webpage, which was some kind of blog before the word was coined and still exists somewhere else. And I cling to my Mac.com mail address for things that I don’t want to be submerged by spam.
@BasicAppleGuy MobileME, I kind of wish I had a mac.com address, but I went the PC/gaming route back then and did not touch a Apple product again until a iPhone 3G.
@BasicAppleGuy I have owned the domain "mobileme.de" since 1999 and when Apple came up with the branding had hopes of selling it really well - I didn't.
