I'm writing a new keynote and it is very hard not to just submit an abstract that says "Eva Galperin will scream for 45 minutes and then take 15 for Q&A."
@evacide I’d travel to hear that.
@fdlk It will be at IEEE.
@evacide @fdlk This is the most relatable content on the internet.
@evacide @fdlk is that the scream you will be making?
@evacide @fdlk screaming followed by humming -- I hope the recording will be available on vinyl
@evacide Question one: could you please repeat the scream you did at 10 minutes? I missed some of the rage and anguish here in the back.
@mattblaze "Not a question, really more of a comment..." * more screaming*
@evacide @mattblaze ✋If there’s not an aerial component to this keynote already, I would like to request one (why scream into one void when you can spin and scream into all of them simultaneously?)
@marasawr @mattblaze I have always wanted to do an aerial keynote. If KiwiCon was still a thing, that would have been ideal. They knew how to put on a show.

@evacide @marasawr I have given a talk from in a swimming pool.

@SteveBellovin can confirm.

@mattblaze

@evacide @marasawr @SteveBellovin Reminds me of the story of Nolan Bushnell (Atari) signing papers for the legal department from a hot tub; they got wet, and the attorney was furious.

@mattblaze @marasawr @SteveBellovin In these troubled times, we need more stunt keynoting.
@evacide @mattblaze @SteveBellovin I would also like to reformulate all panel debates as DnD one-shots, preferably with @fugueish as game master
@mattblaze @evacide @marasawr And here you are, sitting on the diving board, thinking about what to say. (The guy in the purple shirt near the right edge is Robert Morris the Elder.)
@evacide it is exactly this kind of day.
@evacide There IS always an appeal to see one's innermost desires reflected by someone on the stage so... I say go for it. Sounds like you're capturing the Zeitgeist.
@evacide “This might be more of a lament than a question…”

@evacide We appreciate the large QA window.

Will you repeat questions to they can go on the audio recording, or just scream for the length of time it took to ask the question?

@mark @evacide

"I will only be taking questions in the form of a ̶q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶ scream"

@evacide Will you be distributing the slide deck?
@evacide use "rant" instead of scream to sound more professional
@evacide 1st question at the Q&A: Thank you for the very impressive presentation. Can you please share your vocal cord training and care routine and how it differs from the one by professional singers? If you can still speak after that...

@evacide

A scream or just a very high baud rate?
(If we slow the recording down and play it back...)

@evacide in the spirit of the times, sadly I don’t there will be any A to the Q
@evacide my answer is irrelevant, but I screenshotted this and I've been reading it every day
