In the UK, conservative member of the house Priti Patel tries to undermine The International Criminal Court, because would it not be much easier, if we simply ignored the genocide in Gaza, called Netanyahu a democratically elected leader, and ignored the international rule of law?

Luckily the rest of the chamber is having absolutely ZERO of that, and they underline that the ICC is an independent court which should be respected.

@randahl #pritipatel has serious questions to answer over the inhuman treatment of #asylumseekers at #manston in 2022 currently subject to an official inquiry- as does #suellabraverman . She was also dismissed from the #ukcabinet by #theresamay in 2018 for attempting to conduct her own private #proisrael foreign policy. So she has rather lot of 'form' in such matters!
