@Daojoan 💯
Absolutely. I was just thinking how boring and plain elon's coming out as Dark MAGA party was. A pathetic jump and a black hat?
Where's the kevlar-carbon nanotube weaved supervillian suit?

Don't undersell it. It wasn't just one jump, it was pathetic *many* jumps as he pranced and cavorted around like a dickhead.

Last week, the Washington Post wrote about why so many of the people who wait in line for hours to get into Donald Trump’s political rallies wind up leaving before they’re over. The answers are not necessarily surprising. Trump often takes the stage more than an hour late, and in his current state of diminishment…
The quotes around the phrase are sarcastic.
@cmlael67 @Daojoan They had significant support inside our country in the 20s-40s too - the German atrocity had been in part inspired by US conduct in decades & centuries prior.
People whose beliefs embraced those horrors didn’t die out, we just made it socially ruinous to express such in public. They’ve been around, telling generations of their kids their side didn’t lose, since the US Civil War. All that changed is it’s now *profitable* to express in public.
@Daojoan In college we had to pick someone to refute. I picked Hitler because it was in there and I'd actually read Rise and Fall when I was like 10 or something and this was was his "struggles" that I'd never read.
I was praised for my response by my teacher but I had to say that I honestly felt I had gone the easy route. "The banality of evil" is no joke.
'Define "interesting".'
My patience has run thin in regards to ultranationalism and I too am tired and exhausted from MAGAs running their mouths like a broken record playing the same track over and over.
I think the worst part about Nazis is how tired and boring their shit is. They're still using the same old bullshit lines from their great grandfathers. And what blows my mind is that it still works.
I’d like to put ‘paid’ to the nazis and all the other last century dreck. We need to turn and face the planetary crisis that is bearing down on us all
