Did everyone that works in website usability go on strike because I feel like literally every website now looks like this comic

A special note to those of you who say you can't vote for #KamalaHarris because the Biden administration minimized #COVID19. You're right, it did. But if Trump wins and puts RFK Jr in charge of public health as promised, there will likely be no COVID vaccines available after next year. Those vaccines need Federal money for R&D.

If you want a world with rampant COVID, mask bans, and no vaccines, sitting on the sidelines to nurse your grudge is a great way to make it happen. #VoteBlue

Honestly, if you’re in the US, please vote. Don’t let a fascist take control. Don’t think that it can’t possibly happen there. This might be your last chance to vote. Don’t waste it. Sitting it out won’t help your cause but it will definitely endanger a lot of lives. That’s my take on it.

I am my own legal department: the promise and peril of “just go independent”

I’m a well-informed Hobbit—a Boffin from Overhill, thank you very much—who is in a kerfuffle about whom to throw my Hobbit-sized support behind. Fo...

How to write good.
1. Avoid alliteration. Always.
2. Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
3. Avoid clichés like the plague. (They're old hat.)
4. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
5. One should never generalize.
6. Comparisons are as bad as clichés.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. Sentence fragments? Eliminate.
9. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
10. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
11. Who needs rhetorical questions?
People keep saying we live in “interesting times” but is it just me or is all this nazi shit boring and tired as fuck
