I'm caught up with my MKAL and I don't want to work too far on my train knitting before my next train day....

So I've started my Clapotis for the 20th anniversary thing.

@RuthSalter It's honestly even more stunning in person. I'm tempted to take the scarf in to the fabric store to find a coat fabric to make to go with it so I can just wear it all the time!

@otherryn I feel like purple can be a really hard colour to get right in yarn, so it's even better when you find a good one. Which maybe adds to your reasons to make a special coat to showcase it 😉

@RuthSalter Yes! Especially because I prefer the cool toned purples and so often the ones on offer lean red or brown, which are lovely in their own right, but a good cool toned purple gets my grabby hands (with payment) going.

@louisa_ I'm hoping I know how wide I want it to be before I get tired of doing increases. But I'm a fair bit in now and it's knitting up better than I expected!
